One of the biggest advantages of having my parents living with us is that they are extra pairs of ears to listen to the kids. DD3, in particular has a LOT of stories to tell and she can talk your ear out. She won't settle for the distracted type of listening with the occasional nod and smile either. She wants your full attention. With her grandparents, she has a captive audience!!!

Some grandparents provide financial support. Some grandparents take their grandkids to lavish Orlando vacations. My children's grandparents give their hearts, their hands and their ears. They bless them with their presence. I know my children are lucky to have their grandparents as a big part of their lives.
