American Crafts D-ring albums

I chanced upon on these 12x12 American crafts D-ring albums at Big Lots for only $5. I've really been wanting to get these albums because they seem a lot easier to handle than post-bound ones. Anyway, they can get quite pricey when you need several of them so when I saw them at Big Lots, I snatched them up immediately. They were all in lavender though so it was quite limited. Still, I was able to get some for the albums of my girls and family pages. Right now, only DS' album is in a postbound album. I hope they send some more albums over at Big Lots. LOL!

Anyway, as I was rearranging the scrapbook pages, I noticed that DD1 has the least pages! Oh me, oh my! It is hard to scrap amongst 4 kids equally but her album is quite thin compared to her siblings'. I thought that I was more or less getting their pics scrapped rather equally. Guess I was wrong. So, I've vowed to be more conscious of scrapping her photos more. Here are 2 pages I scrapped the past week.
On non-scrapbook related news, we'll be going on our vacation tomorrow. I was hoping that I would have lost weight in time for our vacation (anyone know of diet pills that work? LOL) but it's not happening. First, I have hardly exercised. Second, it's just much too fun to eat! LOL! Anyway, my new goal is to drop the weight in time for my bday in October. That seems to be more realistic. I have about 4 months to work myself into shape. That is doable, isn't it?

I'll probably be back next week. Ciao!

As always, Joy, you make the most beautiful pages for your children. DD1 is your mini-me and she's all grown up. Time flies so fast, 'no?

Enjoy your vacation. Can't wait to see your photos!

Regards to everyone in the family.
