Are girls born this way?
I know it's often been said of women that we are fickle-minded. I, personally don't think I am ... or maybe I am ... sometimes, I guess ... not always ... ok, I digress. But is this true? Are girls wired this way in the brain?
DD1 is soooo fickle-minded these days. It's driving me nuts!
Breakfast time:
"Which cereal do you want?"
"Life, please."
I get the box from the pantry.
"No, I like other one."
"Which one?"
"Other one?"
"This one?" pointing to Honey Bunches of Oats.
"Yes."
I pick up the box and get her a bowl and spoon.
I begin to pour the cereal when...
"Life, life, life!"
"Make up your mind. What are you having for breakfast? Last chance."
"That!"
And so I finally pour her honey bunches of oats.
You think she's doing this on purpose? It happens almost every single day!!!
In the morning, changing from her pj's
"Get some change of clothes." She likes to choose what to wear and so I let her. Less trouble this way. She's asserting her independence big time!
DD goes and picks up some sleeveless shirt and a pair of shorts - and it's freezing outside!
"You can't wear that. It's too cold outside."
"No, want this!"
"Wear this pair of pants and you can wear that shirt. Just put on a sweater."
"No love pants!"
"C'mon, wear this pair."
"No love pants!"
"You want to wear this leggings instead? Look, pretty flowers."
"Ok."
Starts to get dressed when...
"No love flowers! Love pants!"
ARGH!!!!
Help me please. And she's just turning 3!
