Have you watched this channel? They air old-school cartoons, y'know, from our time? I don't think it's a new channel but it sure is the newest favorite in our house.

DD1: "Wanna watch a pink panna"
Me: "a-what?"
DD1:"A pink paaahh-nah!"
Me: "DS, what does she want to watch?"
DS: "She says she wants to watch Pink Panther."

They don't like their usual cartoons anymore. No more PBS, Noggin, NickJr or Disney. Give them some good old-fashioned cartoons. Pink Panther. Tom & Jerry. Scooby-Doo. Flintstones. Huckleberry Hound.

I find it really cute that they are enjoying cartoons I had enjoyed as a kid too. I guess funny is funny, whatever the generation.

Addendum:
I read what I just typed and it looks like they watch all those shows and channels all the time! I'd like to assure you that no, they don't watch TV all the time. TV time is actually a treat for the afternoon, when I am preparing dinner - so they don't get in my way but I can still keep an eye on them.
