Puzzle Obsession

A little over a week ago, MIL sent over a 1000-piece puzzle. I think she intended it for DS. I bet she did not realize that I adore puzzles!! As kids, my brothers and I would complete these puzzles. It would sometimes become an obsession that would keep us up late into the night.

Well, this time was no different. As soon as that box was opened, all I could think about was completing it. I'd stay up till early morning trying to get just one more piece in. My dad commented that it was probably how DH was when he was working on a project. Whether it's working on the computer or doing some home improvement stuff like installing the plasma mount in our room, DH can get so focused he forgets to eat or sleep. Then he wonders why he's so grouchy by the end of his project. LOL!

Anyway, I am proud to say that we finished the puzzle last Sunday! Woohoo! I'm thinking of getting the piece framed or something. It's a Thomas Kincaid painting. It seems such a shame to wreck the whole thing. We'll see.
