Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

It was DH's birthday last Friday. It was a good family day. DS had scout day camp at Camp Trask that day. It was the last day. Before we left, we put up the birthday poster the kids had made the day before, brought DH his gift and woke him up. I know he would've preferred to sleep in but the kids were so excited to show him their special poster. Anyway, I doubt he minded it. How can you not smile when you've got sweet little voices singing to you and sweet little faces greeting you as you open your eyes?

DD1 & DD2 had swimming lessons that day so off to the pool we went, DH & DD3 tagging along. It was their last day of lessons for this session and they got to jump on the diving board. Will reserve the story and pics of that for another day. :)

When we got home, we all jumped into the pool too and just had some good ole fashioned family fun time.

We had an early dinner reservation at PF Changs. MIL & SIL just met us there. PF Changs never fails. Everyone just gobbled up the good food! :)

After dinner, we went and walked around Victoria Gardens for a bit to help digest all that food we ate. Haha. The kids played in the grassy area until dark.

It was a simple celebration of life and family. I would not have had it any other way.
