Weekend update post

The family had a busy weekend...

On Saturday, we went to Victoria Gardens for some shopping. Bro got started on his Christmas shopping. If any of my girl cousins are reading this blog...you are (finally!) getting Christmas presents from Bro this year! LOL! About time, right?
DH also got himself a new pair of Oakley sunglasses. He lost his last pair. That was actually the second pair he lost. Arrgh...

For lunch, we went to our current go-to place, Pho Ha along Foothill Blvd. Bro was surprised at the amount of food we had ordered. It was not really much. It was our usual order plus another rice dish for Bro. The kids love the noodles here and they just devour their food. We came home stuffed and happy.

On Sunday, we went to Disneyland. We were there bright and early at 8ish. We have a friend who works for Disney and one of their perks is that they can bring in 3 additional guests in with them for free. That meant that DH,DS and I got in for free. We only needed to pay for DD1. DD2 and DD3 can still get in for free. Park guests 2 and under are free. It was really nice of our friend to come all the way to Disneyland just to help us get in for free!
We went to Disneylang, btw, to meet up with a friend who was visiting from the Philippines. She was only staying in the area for a couple of days and this was the only time in her busy sked that we could meet. It was a good time to go too. The weather was just right and the whole parked was decked in Christmas decor already. I had never been to Disneyland during the holidays. We stayed at the park till after the Fantasmic light show and the fireworks. We got home past midnight and everyone was knocked out! LOL!

Yesterday, Monday, DH had work and DS had school. I was at DS' school too, helping with the distribution of the See's candy orders (school fundraiser). I was also on lunch duty. I left the girls with Bro and hoped they would all be fine. I was going to stay on till 3 pm when DS gets off school but at around 2 pm, I called home to check on the kids, my bro said that he thought DD3 was wet but did not want to to look in the diaper for fear of what he'd find! LOL! So, I had to hurry home and check.

Next weekend, we're off to Las Vegas. That will be Bro's last weekend with us before he flies to Texas to attend his best friend's wedding. He's the best man. Anyhoo, I'm sure we'll have fun there too. I'm particularly excited to visit a good friend of mine whose family relocated there from Guam just this past year. We saw each other a year ago when they were visiting Cali for a few weeks.
