Where did yesterday go?
It seemed like I blinked and Wednesday was gone! LOL! I didn't even get to do anything on the web either.DH was on 24-hour call at RCMC so he did not come home on Tuesday night. So I was by my lonesome in taking care of all the kids' needs. And we had a hectic day at that - took DS and DD1 to school, went to Vons, took DD2 to her storytime at the library (with DD3 in tow of course), went to Superior, picked up DD1, prepared lunch, picked up DS from school, prepared dinner, bathed all kids and tucked them into bed. Whew! By the time, everything had settled, I was too tired to clean up in the kitchen. I was really just going to take a breather before heading back down to clean up but before I knew it, it was 5 am of Wednesday already! LOL!
So, anyway, yesterday I woke up at 5 am and cleaned up downstairs. Took a shower... and then it was time to wake up the kids and have breakfast. We took DS to school and headed back home. I was sooo sleepy that I switched the TV to Noggin and asked DD1 and DD2 to watch their shows while DD3 and I napped. I probably had a good hour and a half of sleep. When I woke up, time for snacks for the kids and laundry for me.
DH got home at about lunch time from RCMC. I was planning to go to the mall to return some stuff and to go to The Children's Place. They forgot to remove the security tag on one of the dresses we bought for DD1. But DH beat me to the punch and said that he was taking the Armada to the dealer to have the rear hatch checked. The automatic button would not work so we have to open and close it manually - not an easy thing to do coz I kinda have to tiptoe to reach the top of the rear hatch to get it to close. The bane of being vertically challenged! So he took it to the dealer already while it's still under warranty. Usually, repairs at the dealers cost more than having it done at a local body shop. The thing with local car shops though is they may offer you all sorts of unnecessary stuff to add to your car - car spoilers, luggage rack, designer rims. Well, anyway, the Armada is all fixed now.
While DH was away, I plopped myself down on the couch and watched the Heroes DVD I had borrowed from SIL several weeks ago. I figured she might want them back already so I needed to watch it. Plus I really want to watch it before next week's new season premiere. I saw the first several episodes last year but did not get to follow it till the end. I'm not done yet so I might watch some episodes again later.
Then, it was time to pick up DS...prepare dinner...bathe the kids and get them ready for bed. But this time, had to prepare DS for his first Tiger Cub scout meeting. They were having a pack meeting at 7 pm. DH took him. I took a couple of pics of DS but I'm not really satisfied with them as they turned out kinda blurry or dark. Oh well...
Anyhoo, that was my blur of a day... I'll be back in a little bit to post my HSMS pics for yesterday and today.
