Wii got it!

DH and DS went to Best Buy as it opened its doors on Sunday and were able to get a hold of one of the limited Wii consoles being sold.
We went to church at 7 am, then had breakfast at IHOP and after dropping off us girls at home, they went straight to Best Buy. They were there already before 10 am, even if the store was not going to open till 11. Talk about being excited, huh? I guess other people were looking to get one of these too because DS said that there were other people ahead of them in the line already when they arrived at the store. Yes, they were lined up by the entrance of Best Buy.
It's a nice treat for DH - uh...for the kids, I mean. LOL. DH has been "obsessed" about getting one of these ever since playing it at his cousin's house during the 4th of July BBQ over there. And it's been on limited supply, I guess so he jumped at the chance when he saw the Best Buy ad on Sunday. Personally, I would not have thought of buying one. It isn't an essential to me. But a treat once in a while is not so bad, is it? Besides, we haven't gotten a grad gift for DS yet so this could be the grad gift for both DS and DH. Yup, DH is graduating in August! Woohoo! I'll post about that at a later time!
Anyway, we've been having fun playing the Wii. The Wii sports games can seriously make you break into sweat. LOL! It is fun! DH and I have matched up at boxing and guess who won? Yup! ME!!! LOL! I have a mean left hook - all that Tae Bo experience from before has come in handy! You should watch DS box. It is hilarious!!! We need to watch him carefully though. He gets easily frustrated and is such a sore loser! This has been a lesson we've been trying to teach him since forever. We tell him that sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. And it's ok because we play to have fun. We've also made a deal with him and DD1 that the moment someone cries or whines, they lose the chance to play with the Wii that day. And that means more play time more Mom and Dad! LOL!
So, yeah... Wii is in the house! Wanna play?
