Another Tagalog funny
Last night at dinnertime ...DH(talking to DD3): Hi Kulot! Kulot ka ba? (Hi Curly-hair! Do you have curly hair?)
DD2 blurts out: No me!!! Me kulit!!!
LOL!
(I don't think there is a suitable direct translation of the word "kulit" in English! Help me out will ya? Translate kulit to English.)

i've been thinking of an english equivalent for kulit for the longest time, funny how they have an exact word for it in japanese but not one word in english. pester? not really di ba?

So, is it an Asian "trait" you think? Pester comes close but it does not quite capture the essence. Kulit is sometimes endearing and charming too, di ba?
