God speaks
After praying last night with DS, we were talking about the Good Shepherd and how God leads us to the right path.DS: How does God talk to me? I don't even hear his voice.
Me: God talks to you in your heart.
DS: Does He love bad people too?
Me: Yes, God loves good and bad people. But the bad people don't love him back.
DS: Does He talk to their heart too?
Me: Yes, but they...
DS: They ignore him!
Me: That's right.
DS: Mom, who is that saint who was bad then became good?
Me: St. Augustine?
DS: Yeah, that's him.
Me: Did you learn about him in school.
DS: Yup, he was bad then became good because his mommy was praying for him. I wish all the bad people were like him and become good so they can all be saints!
