Dental crown

Since I had a root canal, I am going to need a crown for my molar. I heard that crowns can cost a lot. Thankfully, my insurance will cover about 50% of the cost. It should be good for about 10 years but with good dental care, it could last up to 30 years!
Yesterday, after the nerve treatment, my tooth was worked on. I noticed that it was reduced to about half of its original size. The Dr. did this so that the crown will fit well. He also did some measurements, took some x-rays, and checked my bite. He put temporary filling and a plastic crown for now. So, no chewing on that side for now. Next week, I'm coming back to get the crown and hopefully, it will be the last of my dental problems.
Now that I've found a good dentist, I promise myself that I'm going to have my regular check-ups! How about you? Have you visited your dentist lately? If you're still looking for a dentist in your area, check out this dentist directory. My dentist, Dr. Tanaka is listed there!
