3 months old

DD3 is 3 months old already!!! I dunno if it's because she's my 4th baby, but I feel like "It's only been 3 months?!?!?" I feel like she's been here forever and I'm constantly amazed that she's only been in my life for 3 months! Of course, I think they grow up way too fast. I feel like DD3 missed the small newborn stage, y'know? She was like that maybe for a whole 1 week? Then she became a baby...not complaining...just reflecting!

I just love this stage though. She's responsive already yet not mobile. Love her excited chuckle when I pick her up from the bed in the morning. She does not cry. She lays there cooing and waiting - unless of course I take too long to pick her up! Love her smile when she hears my voice. Love that she turns towards the voice that calls her - whether it be me, DH or any of the kids. Love her cooing and babbling -as of conversing with us. Love her big bright eyes. Love the sweet baby smell. Love it when she's nestled in my arms or when her small head is nestled at the crook of my neck when I'm carrying her. Love watching her raising her head during some tummy time - looking around, very curious about her surroundings. Love the expression on face when I lay her down to change her soiled diapers - as if telling me, "Finally! You're finally taking this stinky soiled thing off me!" LOL! Love watching her start to interact with her siblings - cooing at them - and seeing her siblings just swell with pride when, "Mom! She's looking at me! She's smiling at me! She likes me!" Love the serious look on her face when she's nursing - "don't bother me, I'm eating!" Love the contented look on her face when she's done - she looks at me and with a smile, starts to babble - "thanks Mom, that was goooood!" Love it when she falls asleep after nursing - it means I have time to do "me" stuff!
