What is on the menu tonight?

In line with traditional Filipino Christmas, we have our big dinner on Christmas eve - the Noche Buena - unlike most households here in the U.S. who have their big dinner on Christmas night.
I decided to mix up our menu for tonight a little. I'm injecting more Filipino dishes into our normally continental (?) menu for Noche Buena.
The carry-overs from previous menus: Roast Beef and mashed potatoes and gravy, Honeybaked Ham, Leche Flan.
The new items: Pansit Malabon, Macaroni Salad, Fruit salad, pandesal

I've made 2 pans of leche flan already. The fruit salad is ready too. I was supposed to make the maaroni salad yesterday too but this little one in my tummy decided s/he had enough and started giving me a hard time. I was having contractions so I had to stop and lie down already to stave off any preterm labor that might happen. Oh, I also got to marinate the roast beef too so that when it goes to the over later this afternoon, it would be infused with flavor already.

Later today, I plan to make the macaroni salad first, maybe sometime in the morning. The roast beef has to be timed perfectly. I don't want to make it too far ahead that it would be cold before I serve it. But I don't want it roasting still when the whole gang is starving either. We're buying the Pansit malabon from Manila Sunset. DH is picking it up on his way home from work. Yes, he's working till 3:30 pm today. SIL is bring the Honeybaked Ham. I'm not sure if DH will be able to swing by Valerio's for some pandesal so I might pass by Superior to get some of their dinner rolls.

There really isn't that much to do anymore, in terms of food prep, BUT a lot still to be done - a lot of it involves cleaning the house. UGH!
