Arms of Love

"Arms of Love" by Amy Grant is one of my favorite songs. I found this pic of DH and DD sleeping and that line from the song quickly came to mind... and hasn't left since. I knew I had to scrap the pic and that line. Special thanks to Megan (vintagecharm) for her beautiful Pure Bliss LO that I scraplifted during SBB's weekly scraplift crop. Credits for my LO include: Be Bold kit by Dawn Stocstill from SBB Newsletter, Digital Distressing Kit by Nancie Rowe Janitz at ScrapArtist. Fonts are Gill Sans MT and Satisfaction.
{lyrics & music by Amy Grant}
Lord, I'm really glad you're here
I hope you feel the same when you see all my fears and how I've failed.
I fall sometimes.
It's hard to walk on shifting sand.
I miss the rock and find there's nowhere left to stand; I start to cry.
Lord, please help me!
Raise my hands so You can pick me up.
Hold me close, hold me tighter.
Refrain 1:
I have found a place where I can hide. It's safe inside Your arms of love.
Like a child who's held throughout the storm, You keep me warm in Your arms of love.
Storms may come and storms may go.
I wonder just how many storms it takes until I finally know,
You're here always.
Even when my skies are far from grey, I can stay.
Teach me to stay there!
Refrain 2:
In the place I found where I can hide, it's safe inside Your arms of love.
Like a child who's held throughout the storm, You keep me warm in Your arms of love.
