Rejection

Ok, so I put myself and my ego out there by applying to be on a creative team. I actually decided to submit my application at the last minute. Didn't think I was going to have time for it but the requirements were simple enough - only 2 layouts per month. So, I tried and submitted. First submission of anything ever!!! Didn't really think I was going to get chosen, you know? But still, upon getting the email that I was not one of the chosed ones, was still disappointed.

I've often stayed away from situations that did not guarantee success for me. Afraid of taking risks, I think.

Applying for this creative team was a step out of my comfort zone and I'm actually proud of myself.

So, despite the rejection, I give myself a pat on the back.
