Candied Crackers

This was such a hit over the holidays. And they are really easy to make.

Lay down club crackers on a foil-lined cookie sheet.

In a saucepan, melt together 1 cup of butter and 3/4 cup sugar. Bring to a boil and mix until thick. Once thickened, pour over the crackers. Top with sliced almonds.

Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees or until light brown.

Allow to cool. Break into pieces. Store in an airtight container to keep fresh. Although I doubt if it will stay in the container for long.
