So proud of my friend

He was my classmate in college. He moved to NYC soon after to take up a course on design. He lived in the NYC area for a little over 10 years. But his legal work papers hit a snag and he had to go back to Manila. To say he was devastated to be moving his whole life from the place he had come to call his home is an understatement. We had tried all sorts of things and tried to think up of all sorts of plans to get him to stay here. Alas, nothing changed. He had to move out of the U.S of A. He had accumulated a lot of stuff already and had designed a lot of his furniture. So, a New York Moving Company was hired to get him to ship his stuff. You heard right. He shipped off all his stuff back to Manila. And guess what? His new pad in Manila, with all his New-York designed furniture was featured at the TV design show, Urban Zone! LOL! And he has been working on a couple of designs for the pads of friends and these have been featured on the show too! Woohoo. so happy for him.
And although, he still pines for the life in NYC, at least he is still able to put his awesome talent to good use. And I am really proud of him!
