Skin Peeling disaster

Oh my goodness, I cannot believe I had completely forgotten to blog about this.

A few weeks ago, while we were attending a birthday party at the park, DH took DS, DD1 and DD2 to the playground a few yards away. It was about past 2 in the afternoon and the sun was shining brightly. Then, I saw the 4 of them walking back to us with DS crying. According to him, he was playing in the monkey bars when he felt something sticky and when he pulled out his hand, the skin on his palms peeled off. My guess is that the bars were too hot that his palms stuck to them because of the heat! I got weak in the knees just hearing about it. Thank goodness DH was there to administer first aid because I don't think I would have been able to handle it! He was in so much pain! My heart was aching for my poor boy. But he was such a trooper and tried to be really brave through it all.

Here is a pic I shot of his hands when they were healing already. I just did not have the heart or the stomach to take photos while they were still so raw!
