White
The palest colour and sign of purity.

You'd think that I'd have an easy time with "white" - I with the white kitchen. But no...I had a hard time capturing the white. It was coming out off white. I looked for something white outside but it was late in the morning already and all that was white was in harsh shadows. They were coming out grey. Ugh! There is so much to learn about this camera and photography...I wanna take cool photos too! LOL. I did take a step to learning about photography. I bought
Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson over at Amazon. This book has been highly recommended so I finally got it. I was so tempted to get some scrapping idea books too. But I had to be honest to myself - these idea books don't really do anything for me. I mean, sure there's a lot of eye candy to be had but that's about it. I don't *learn* too much from them and I get disappointed. And I've had that happen to me a couple of times already.

Good shot. Your photo for yesterday would also qualify for 'white'.
Great shot joy, I had a hard time too with my white photo, don't know why? Love yesterdays photo too xXx
Oh Hazel, it would qualify, wouldn't it? :D
Great idea. I love when someone thinks of something so ordinary, but yet creative--one I don't think of! I had a hard time with this one, but I never thought of my paper towels or Kleenex for that matter!
cool shot! I tried toilet papers too but it looks so boring so i changed it to flipflops ;)
Great take on the prompt, Joy! I've heard that the 'Understanding Exposure' is great - let us know what you think.
