Have you heard of this? Apparently it does exist!

Pro Competitive eater Takeru Kobayashi has been diagnosed with it, just days before the Nathan's hotdog eating competition on Wednesday, July 4th. He's held the title for the past 6 years.

DH and I are so fascinated by this man. We happened to see his first win in 2001 and was so amazed! How can this skinny man down 50 hotdogs in 12 minutes? OMG!!! And if you look at him now, he's buffed up but is still relatively small compared to his competitors. Only, now he's got six-pack abs! I swear!

It's going to be interesting how he's going to compete or if he's going to compete at all on Wednesday. He says he can barely open his mouth because of the arthritis. Wow right? Jaw arthritis? Who knew?
