The right blinds

When we were living in an apartment, the window treatments were boring ole white vertical blinds. I never really liked these types of Blinds. They remind me too much of office-type rooms. It does not feel homey to me.
When we moved into this house, we were fortunate that there were plantation shutters installed on all windows. These were really easy to clean with just a sweep of a dustcloth.
I'm also very much attracted to Roman blinds. We had Roman blinds on our patio glass door. I like how it looked. It looked classy and homey and clean!
The right window treatments really add to the general ambience of a room!
