DS: Mom, I have an idea. After my homework, I'll make my business.
Me: Business? What business?
DS: Like Calvin, I'll take a box outside then if someone walks in the street, maybe they want to buy water. I'll sell them a glass of water for 10 cents.
Me: Oh... you think that's a good idea?
DS: Yes! Why not?
Me: Ok, you can try it.

So, even if *I* thought it wasn't the best idea out there, how could I squash my son's enthusiasm? He had 1 customer - Lola Agnes who happened to be walking to church and passed him by on her way out. LOL!
And you know what he was going to do with the money he was going to earn? Buy me a present for my birthday...say it with me, people, "Awwwww..."
