Declaration contest

Last Thursday, DS joined his school's declaration contest. And he won first place!!! along with the 7 other Kindergarten "contestants"! Hahaha...

But it was really a nice experience for him. He did quite well, if I may say so myself. He remembered all his lines and recited the poem clearly, don't you think? He did forget the actions we practiced. But that's ok - must have been nervous! You can see him twitching his right hand while saying his piece.

I'm really proud that he was willing to try this out. We'll see next year if he'll want to join again. It will be a real competition then among 1st, 2nd & 3rd graders in the Primary division.
