Close to the end

I'm home from my appt with my OB/GYN this morning. And after checking, he concludes that I may give birth anytime tonight or tomorrow. Yup, it's that close! I am 3 cm dilated, close to 4. So the next time you hear from me, I'll be the mom of a newborn baby.

I am sooo not ready yet. My bags aren't packed. The baby's clothes are still in boxes. Yes, I've been procrastinating. The baby's crib is up but the sheets and stuff have yet to be put on. And I still need to do some grocery shopping to be sure that the kids have something to eat while I'm at the hospital. As if I'll be away that long! LOL!

The good news is that my mom arrived from the Philippines yesterday. At least, DH and I won't have to worry about logistics when I go into labor and am in the hospital. The kids are staying home with Lola. Another blessing I guess is that it's the weekend. We won't have to worry about getting DS to and from school. His bday is on Tuesday though and I've asked his teacher if we could bring some snacks to share with his class. She said that it was fine. I guess I'll have to miss that and let DH do it instead. I've told him to make sure to take lots of photos though.

Alrighty, I'm logging off now and lay down... the contractions are coming. Whoopee! Keep me in your prayers, everyone!
