The Rationale Behind The New Look

Lookie...lookie...
My blog has been given a make-over!

I've spoken about this make-over before. And finally, it's done.
I did this myself, and I'm quite happy with the results. I wish I knew a whole lot more about web design so I could have really decked out this blog to the max but I'm happy just the same. I actually just re-worked an existing blogger template and used that.

It's a whole new blog, so it seems. I've got a different name. What gives?

Shine like stars - my current life theme. My previous blog name - a not-so-desperate housewife reflected how I saw myself and where I was at in my life when I started the blog. I actually was feeling almost desperate, almost on the edge with worry and anxiety about the different changes in my life. I felt like I did not know where life was taking me. I felt I was being jerked around.

But that season has passed. I feel calmer now, more at peace.

"that you may shine like stars in the universe" is now somewhat like my guiding principle in this stage of my life. I believe it's what I am being called to do and to be.

I feel surer(?) of my place in this universe. And I feel that the Lord is just asking me to shine here and now. He's calling me to be a light, to just twinkle, even when I feel like my light does not matter very much. I should shine anyway.

And so there... a fresh look, a fresh new outlook. Hope you continue to travel this journey with me. And maybe together, we can shine our lights in this desperately darker world.
