Busy Bee

It's been busy...busy... busy...
DD will be celebrating her first bday next weekend. So, I'm busy preparing for the party. 2 yrs ago when we celebrated other DD's first bday, I was busy, busy, busy too. I prepared about 75% of the food that we served the guests. It was a week-long worth of pre-cutting, marinating, baking, etc. We had her party at a park. It was tiring, but really fun.
This time, we are doing it in an indoor funhouse. We're only having pizza, subs and cake. No feast to prepare. What has kept me busy then? Well, I'm making the goodie bags from scratch. I posted the picture a couple of posts ago. It's pretty easy to make - but try making 30 of them!!! And it isn't that easy anymore. LOL. But seriously, I liked doing it. It was just that I had to make them when the kids were asleep to make sure they wouldn't get into it and mess them up. Now I remember why I did not pursue paper crafts!
I also had an idea of making a keepsake guestbook. I'm still in the process of designing it. The idea is that I will have questions on the page that guests will answer. Questions like: Who do I look like? What do you think will I be when I grow up?, etc. I've designed the cover. I'm probably getting a sketch pad and alter that for this project. I'll take pics when I'm done and share them with you.
