Why do I scrap?

Lately, I've been having scrapper's block. I just can't seem to put together a LO with ease as when I started. I was also getting kinda frustrated that my LO's were not getting noticed at some galleries I've posted in. Sure, they aren't WOW layouts but I feel they're pretty good too. Then I think, maybe I'd like to get published someday. Maybe I can be a somebody in the scrapping world. My friends and family definitely think I've got talent. Then again, they are biased.
And then, I stop...

Why do I scrap again?

I scrap to preserve memories.

So, here I am, this approval-seeking, affirmation-seeking me, scrapping again.

Something I've learned about my style of scrapping is that I love to journalize. I almost always include a lenghty narrative. It's as important to me as the picture. So, though, my LO's are simple, definitely not unique or cutting-edge, I find that my journaling is the common thread in my LO's. I find, once again, that the written word is my friend.
