Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up here in the US. It's on the first week of May. And Teacher Appreciation Day is on May 3.

I used to give a little something to my kids' teachers when they were still in traditional school. I was a teacher myself so I know that teachers do appreciate the little gifts kids and their parents give.

Now, that I am both teacher and parent to my kids, should I gift myself something nice too? LOL! spa gift baskets to soothe away the tired muscles? A department store gift card for some retail therapy? House cleaning services?

Or maybe I can give myself a day off. If only the kids read my blog...
